1.Manual Handling (Safe Lifting) - Certificate of Attendance

Health and safety in the workplace is regulated by law through the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 requires employers to identify and avoid the risk of injury from manual handling operations.

Related to these are the requirements of the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995. (RIDDOR)

2. Emergency First Aid - Certificate of attendance

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to have adequate arrangements for first aid and lay down procedures for dealing with emergencies. At least one person must be appointed and trained to take charge of first aid arrangements.

Related to these are the requirements of the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995.

This course is the minimum training recommended for appointed first aiders in the workplace

3. Basic Food Hygiene - Assessment by Royal Institute of Public Health & Hygiene

Food business operators shall ensure that food handlers are supervised and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene matters commensurate with their work activity. The aim of this course is to prepare those working with/or handling food for the primary certificate in food hygiene.
